swing sundays

I need a late pass for this post. After being in the house most of the weekend, we took Zollie to the park on Sunday afternoon. It's something we don't do often enough. I'm finding when you have younger children, it can be a hassle to do anything. The park was full of things to do, but Zol was perfectly content on the swing and probably could have stayed there forever. (I had to bribe him with french fries to get him to leave) 

I'm enjoying our time together before our family of 3 becomes 4.

Do you remember going to homecoming?

We try to visit Aaron's family in Hampton, Va at least once a month. Last weekend when we visited my niece Kelly was going to her first homecoming dance. I had the pleasure of being on makeup duty, my fave! Afterwards, we had a mini photo shoot. Fun times. Kelly is an ANTM in the making. 

Z vs. ladybug

I've said this before, and I'll say it again, my son is mesmerizing. I love observing him, he picks up new things everyday. Some of these things I miss while I'm at work, but I use my weekend time to gawk. He prefers to be out and about around people, but every once in a while, I'll catch him enjoying his time at home.
