We threw a party, yeah threw a party

Zollie turned 1 over the weekend and the Kershaws celebrated "Zollipop" style with a birthday gathering of close friends and family. Baby boy had a great time and it was wonderful to see how much people love and care about him.



There was candy everywhere (parents weren't too happy about this) but the kids loved it! I used Pinterest to help me plan the party...that website is digital gold! My sister made all of the paper decor and did a fabulous job.



In addition to candy, we had popcorn, lollipop cookies, cake pops, chocolate covered-pretzels and cupcakes. Yummy! I won't even go into the food menu, let's just say we got it in with the BBQ.

 My nieces and nephews are gorgeous.

The moment of truth. Zollie had his first taste of sugar with his birthday cake. He was reluctant at first, but he got the hang of it...my boy! My sister-in-law made the cupcakes and Zollie's # 1 personal cake. The lollipop birthday cake was gifted by a friend in DC.

Gosh this little guy is cute.
